ABOUT

Hi I am Mia Bandy. I am 29 years old and from Bexhill, East Sussex. Recently moving back to the area to care for my grandmother as she has become ill.

I have been around animals my whole life from having cats, dogs, horses, reptiles, fish and now tarantulas. I have always had a passion to work with animals. After pursuing a career in the care industry for 10 years then I fell ill with a condition called CVS and care work was not the right fit for me anymore. I volunteer out in Spain at my friend's dog sanctuary called Finding Forever Homes in Alicante once a year for 2 weeks this allows me to work with all kinds of breeds and sizes. From puppies to the oldies she has them there, this is where I gain of my experience in dogs that are a bit more unsure than usual. Over the years I have taken care of friends and families pets whilst they are away or walking them whilst they are at work. And now have been an established business since 2022. But I dream to do this full time again.

Meet and Greet

This consultation is the 1st step we take on our trails when your dog and I meet for the first time. The owners and I will go through paper work, cover preferences and expected jobs. This consultation will include a small walk so me and the can get a feel for each other. This step is mandatory regardless if you're booking a walk or drop in visits.

Drop-in Visits

Making sure your dog is watered and toileted during the day whilst your at work is not a must but it does put your mind at ease.

During this visit your dog will:
- get let out to go to the toilet
- clean up any accidents or messes
- fresh water
- treat, licky mat or kong

Dog Walking

Here at Happy Trails and Tails LTD we know that as much as you love your dog, you can’t be in two places at once, so we offer our dog walker service throughout the day. Your dog will be walked in a safe open space and will return home, happy and tired. We also provide fresh water, treats and we will even wash and dry your dog off in wet weather if you wish. Our aim is to make each walk the highlight of your dog’s day, giving them a chance to play, socialise, exercise and explore new sights and smells.

If you have a growing family or just unable to get into the garden, our service offers the peace of mind that all the mess that accompanies your family pet has been removed. To ensure that the safest dog/cat waste removal service is provided, disinfectant spray is used on all tools and footwear after each and every visit to a clients’ property, which helps prevent the spread of disease.
