Meet Chelsea and Sky
Meet the founder Chelsea and co manager Sky, who set out on a mission in 2019 to leave the UK and head to Spain. All they had was a dream to help rescue dogs, £20, and an old banger filled to the roof with our bits and bobs. They have been through a lot and have picked up a few new family members along the way. Without fail Chelsea manages to find them loving and brilliant homes for my friends to live long, happy, and safe lives.
And after already found forever homes for over 400 dogs. We're not stopping any time soon!
Finding Forever Homes Fosters
Happy Trails and Tails owner Mia tries to help out as much as she can and has opened her home to 3 pups from Finding Forever Homes whilst they found their forever homes. It does not come easy when it comes to say goodbye but they have all thrived in their new homes.
Dusty - November 2020
Dusty the Spanish Mastin arrived at Finding Forever Homes with his brother Dave and his sister Tequila. Dusty did find a home but unfortunately due to him growing into such a big strapping boy he out grew his home and was surrendered back to Finding Forever Homes at 7 months old. Finding Forever Homes reached out to Mia and offered her to be his foster home and she snapped up the chance and travelled all day and night to collect him. Dusty's stay wasn't long before he found his forever home.
Winnie - November 2022
Winnie the German Shorthaired Pointer arrived at Finding Forever Homes in a litter of puppies. Winnie also did find a home but unfortunately due to the other dog in the household being older he did not take well to having a puppy sister and for not fault of her own she was surrendered back to Finding Forever Homes. Finding Forever Homes reached out to Mia and asked if she could offer her a foster home as she was very close and Mia snapped up the chance and within the hour jumped on the train to collect her. Winnie's stay was also short and sweet as Mia's close friend feel in love with Winnie at first sight and signed the adoption forms straight away.
Just a few weeks after Winnie went to her forever home her sister Rubie was surrendered back to Finding Forever Homes for which reasons we will never know. Finding Forever Homes again reached out to Mia on New Years Day and asked her to be her foster home. Rubies stay was a bit longer than her sisters but it was all worth it in the end and now she is a free dog. Due to Rubies long stay Mia grew rather fond of Rubie. She was such a well behaved and loveable dog Mia still can not figure out why her first home did not work out. Rubie found her forever home in April 23.
